Intuitive decisions are part of everyday business life. And yet they are often viewed critically by management.
Decisions are made rationally as head decisions or intuitively as gut decisions. This also applies to decisions in companies. However, intuitive decisions are often viewed critically there, as they lack a fact-based foundation. This was the motivation behind the research collaboration between the Institute of Information Systems - Information Engineering in Linz and TD Trusted Decisions GmbH in 2016. We are working together on the research project: Recognizing and visualizing gut decisions and measuring the quality of a gut decision.
