About the company
The Niedersächsische Staatsbad Pyrmont, a wholly owned subsidiary of the state of Lower Saxony with over 70 years of tradition, forms the heart of the Bad Pyrmont health resort. Under the motto "Health and joie de vivre", the state spa offers a comprehensive range of services to promote health and well-being.
The Fürstenhof Klinik specializes in orthopaedic, rheumatological and oncological diseases. The range of services is complemented by the Königin-Luise-Bad health center, which offers a variety of therapies such as physiotherapy and naturopathic treatments. In 2022, the Landgrafen-Klinik in Bad Nenndorf was also integrated into the Staatsbad Pyrmont.
The Hyllige Born and five other healing springs offer medically recognized healing effects. The Hufeland Therme with brine water, saunas and a beauty area as well as the spa park with the northernmost palm garden in Europe round off the experience.
Over 350 employees ensure that guests feel "healthy & happy" all round.

Why the Staatsbad Pyrmont chose Corporate Planner
Staatsbad Pyrmont was looking for a powerful solution to make planning and controlling more efficient and transparent. Corporate Planner Finance won them over with its intuitive operation, clear structure and the ability to set up integrated multi-year planning. It was particularly important for the customer to have a standardized data basis as a foundation for well-founded decisions.
Project highlights and a look into the future
The collaboration with TD Trusted Decisions was characterized by a close exchange at eye level. The introduction of the software was structured and flexible - including individual adaptations to specific requirements.
The result: noticeable time savings, automated planning processes and a central, reliable database for reporting. Staatsbad Pyrmont is planning to further expand the CP-Web Client application for even more transparency in the company. The aim is to provide decision-making bases even more quickly and clearly in future.
The challenge: More efficiency and transparency in controlling
The Lower Saxony State Spa Pyrmont wanted to make its financial and profit planning more efficient and transparent. The company was looking for a powerful software solution to optimize decision-making based on precise data and at the same time simplify internal controlling and reporting processes. Of particular importance was the ability to establish multi-year, integrated financial and profit planning, which would provide the management with a reliable basis for business decisions.
Selection criteria: Intuitive user-friendliness and clarity
During the evaluation phase a few years ago, the Staatsbad Pyrmont concentrated on various controlling and financial planning systems. The focus was on two main requirements: the clarity of the system and its user-friendliness. After intensive testing, the decision was made in favor of the Corporate Planner Finance software from Corporate Planning GmbH Hamburg. The reason for this was the software's ability to create a standardized data basis in controlling and, at the same time, its intuitive usability.
As part of the realignment of corporate controlling in 2023, there was an increased need for advice on the CP application. For this reason, the decision was made to seek support from TD. In the course of this restructuring, Mr. Krohne was and still is very active for the Staatsbad Pyrmont. Based on these findings, TD Trusted Decisions drew up a project plan that included time and effort estimates for the requirements to be mapped.
The implementation mainly took place in regular sprint meetings, in which the project status was discussed transparently. This ensured that everyone involved was up to date at all times and that any ambiguities could be clarified at an early stage. The flexibility of Trusted Decisions deserves special mention: In phases with particularly tight schedules, the TD team provided targeted support to Staatsbad Pyrmont and took on additional tasks in order to successfully implement the project plan. This close cooperation and pragmatic approach contributed significantly to the success of the project and was perceived as a great added value.
